Experience the summer of your life

Live on campus

Stay in a Cambridge college and experience daily life as a student. A few weeks before arrival, you’ll be assigned to a college based on your subject and dates. If you want to stay with a friend or sibling, let us know, and we’ll try to arrange it.

Formal dinners in historic halls

Twice during the Cambridge philosophy summer school, you’ll attend a formal three-course dinner in a traditional Cambridge dining hall. The first dinner happens in your first week, and the second takes place after the graduation ceremony. Smart clothing is recommended to match the occasion and fully enjoy the experience.

Enjoy your successes in a stately Cambridge hall. During the ceremony, instructors, peers, and special guests meet, hear motivational remarks, and get diplomas. A formal supper marks the end of the evening and provides a memorable manner to wrap up the programme.

Explore Oxford & London

Take two full-day trips to discover more of the UK. One day will be spent in Oxford, where you’ll visit its historic colleges. There’s also an optional trip to London, where you can see famous landmarks and enjoy some free time for shopping.

Afternoon activities & social events

Beyond academics, our Cambridge philosophy programme offers plenty of ways to enjoy your time in Cambridge. Try punting on the River Cam, play zorb football, or take part in a thrilling murder mystery night.

Evenings full of energy

After a day of learning, evenings bring more ways to relax and connect. Join a quiz night, take part in a talent show, paint at a cake and canvas session, or listen to inspiring guest speakers. There’s something for everyone. Our Cambridge philosophy summer school is more than just studying—it’s a chance to grow, explore, and make memories in a city known for discovery.
