International Relations Summer Programme in Sydney

“Our architecture teacher teaches us a lot from the history of architecture to designing in the present day, and about our future careers as architects. It has made me want to become an architect or at least study architecture. Today we've talked about portfolios and what is necessary for that next movement to college and to get accepted into University. It's helped me a lot to prepare for the next two years, and where I'm going to be heading to get to that point.”

“I've loved the debates in my law classes - they've really helped improve my English and public speaking. My favourite trip was to London despite the rain. I've learned so much about college applications from my teachers, mentors and international peers. This experience is so unique and I'll absolutely reference it in my university applications. Getting to study at Cambridge has opened my mind to new possibilities and I'm so thankful for this opportunity.”

“My favourite part of the experience is making friends and doing the activities because I feel like it's really fun and the mentors really work hard to make it possible. Before coming to Immerse, I was worried about making friends. I was quite introverted, so I'm scared to go up to people and talk to them. But now I feel like I've made many friends and I'm really happy about that.”

“I found out about the programme because my parents and I were looking for a summer programme to do this summer, and then we found Immerse. The programme says it's in Cambridge, which I think is a really precious experience. My experience is just really amazing because not a lot of people get the opportunity to actually come to Cambridge with such a good university and just live in a college and meet like-minded people and have professors teach you some university knowledge that you won't get taught at school.”
