Meet our Philosophy, Politics & Economics tutors
Our PPE programme tutors bring deep knowledge and experience to the classroom. They help students explore big ideas in philosophy, politics, and economics through discussions, case studies, and hands-on projects. With their guidance, students learn to think critically, analyse arguments, and connect different subjects in meaningful ways.
Each tutor provides personal support, helping students build confidence in their academic skills. They make complex topics easier to understand and encourage curiosity. For ESL students, tutors also focus on key academic terms, making sure they feel comfortable using them. Their support helps students prepare for university and future studies.
Aiden is a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. His research is in formal epistemology, but he also has interests in the philosophy of language, philosophy of mind and ethics.
Cathy is a lecturer in Philosophy, Politics & Economics at Wadham College, Oxford. She teaches Ethics, Practical Ethics, Aesthetics and Political Philosophy, Politics & Economics.
